1. About FridgeList

FridgeList is a list management application developed and operated by Raluca Lupu, a self-employed developer based in the United Kingdom. FridgeList allows users to create, manage and share lists across multiple devices.

2. Eligibility

By using FridgeList you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will use FridgeList in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• If you are under 18, you have obtained parental or guardian consent

3. Your Account

An account is only required if you wish to use the sharing feature. You may use FridgeList without an account for personal local lists.

If you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information including a valid email address and username
• Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use FridgeList only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use FridgeList to store or share illegal, harmful, offensive or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' lists or accounts
• Use FridgeList to harass, abuse or harm other users
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify or tamper with the app
• Use automated scripts or bots to access FridgeList
• Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Impersonate another person or create fake accounts

5. Sharing Feature

FridgeList allows you to share lists with other users. When using the sharing feature:

• You are responsible for who you invite to your lists
• You control the permission levels granted to each member
• You as the list owner are responsible for the content of your shared lists
• Invited members must also comply with these Terms
• You can remove members or delete shared lists at any time

We are not responsible for any disputes between users arising from shared list access or content.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

FridgeList is currently free to use, including the sharing feature. A paid subscription for sharing may be introduced in a future update.

• Current pricing — sharing is free for all users at this time
• If a paid subscription is introduced in future, we will give advance notice through the app before any charges apply
• Any future subscriptions would be processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play
• You would be charged through your Apple ID or Google account
• Subscriptions would automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You would be able to manage or cancel any subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account settings
• Receipts and invoices would be provided by Apple or Google, not by FridgeList directly
• Refunds would be subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies

Invited members can always access shared lists for free — any future subscription would only apply to the user who initiates sharing.

7. Service Limits

To ensure a reliable experience for all users, FridgeList applies the following limits:

• Lists — maximum 50 lists per account
• Items per list — maximum 50 items per list
• Members per shared list — maximum 10 members per list (including the owner)
• Photos per item — maximum 5 photos per item
• List names — maximum 25 characters
• Item names — maximum 300 characters
• Activity log — entries older than 7 days are automatically removed from shared lists

These limits may be updated in future versions of the app. We will notify users of any significant changes through the app.

8. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in FridgeList including list names, items, photos and notes.

By using FridgeList you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will never use it for advertising or any purpose other than delivering the app's functionality.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third party rights.

9. Privacy

Your use of FridgeList is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully to understand how we collect, use and protect your data.

10. Intellectual Property

FridgeList, including its name, logo, design, code and all associated content, is owned by Raluca Lupu and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or create derivative works of FridgeList without our express written permission.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

FridgeList is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free or meet your specific requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data due to technical failures, device issues or accidental deletion
• Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of FridgeList
• Content shared between users or disputes between users
• Loss of access to shared lists due to account deletion by the list owner

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion:

• Your account and profile are permanently removed from our servers
• Any shared lists you own are deleted for all members
• You are removed from all shared lists you were a member of
• Local lists on your device are not affected
• This action cannot be undone

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Your continued use of FridgeList after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of FridgeList shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
